Alexander J. Joa, MBA

Mr. Joa is a finance and strategy professional with over 10 years of experience in financial services across a breadth of capacities. Mr. Joa is currently a Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and M&A at the Student Loan Corporation, an 80% owned subsidiary of Citibank, where he has responsibilities for strategic planning, coordinating top business priorities among the Company's senior management team, and leading and driving merger and acquisition activity including transaction structuring, due diligence, and integration planning. Prior to this role, Mr. Joa was the Vice President of Pricing at the Student Loan Corporation where he led the financial modeling, analysis, and valuation efforts across the business. Mr. Joa also has held previous roles at JPMorgan Chase, where he developed credit risk analyses and shaped credit policies for consumer finance products, as well as Citicards where he had responsibilities for driving the execution of direct marketing programs.

Mr. Joa holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and earned a B.S. in Management and Marketing at Cornell University.
